Jabro Carpet One Welcomes Your Support

In 2007, it is expected that 178,480 Americans and 22,300 Canadians will be diagnosed with breast cancer. While thousands will die, more and more people will survive thanks to ongoing research into breast cancer’s causes and treatments. Jabro Carpet One Floor & Home is proud to continue to support the fight against cancer with the Carpet One Welcomes Your Support campaign, which kicks off in October for our Fall 2007 campaign. To date, Carpet One Floor & Home stores have raised $500,000 USD to support this wonderful cause!

During October, November, and December, Carpet One Floor & Home stores throughout North America will contribute 25% from the sales of specially-designed pink ribbon welcome mats towards breast cancer research and awareness. Funds raised in the United States will go to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation® while funds raised in Canada will go to the Canadian Cancer Society. In addition to a monetary donation, Carpet One Floor & Home stores are also raising awareness for the cause by providing informational brochures in their communities.

Carpet One Floor & Home’s fall collection of welcome mats features the colors and themes of the season. Choose from eleven distinctive welcome mat designs, each emblazoned with a pink ribbon, the internationally recognized symbol for breast cancer awareness. Made of plush nylon, the welcome mats are water and stain resistant, machine-washable, and can be used both indoors and out.
